Olga Arkhangelskaya
has been gallery owner and manager for over a decade.
A graduate of Harvard University, she has also completed a Pew Fellowship program at Georgetown University and holds a Certificate in Art History from George Washington University.
A founder of Russian-American Cultural Club at the Russian Embassy in Washington DC, she is a tireless advocate for Russian art and culture in the US. She is frequently giving lectures and presentations at her gallery and as a guest speaker at numerous social clubs and professional organizations. Due to her efforts the cohort of remarkable Russian artists was introduced to the US art connoisseurs and gained popularity.
Ivan Arkhangelsky
has been an Art Director and Acquisitions Manager since the gallery's inception. Originally a nuclear physicist, he later became a vivid art collector, building extensive relationships with a number of prominent Russian artists, establishing ties to the leading art academies, following the most important art events in Russia and Europe. Impeccable taste and knowledge helps him to spot the most talented and original artists and select the best of their works. He is continuously visiting their studious, attending their exhibitions and shows. For over a decade he has been formulating the gallery's collection and literally bringing it to the US, overcoming numerous obstacles and red tape.
Ivan generously supports young artists and art students following the traditions of Russian Academic School through his Arkhangelski Art Foundation.
